Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026 · TubePilot AI v1.1.2

TubePilot AI ("TubePilot", "we", "our") is a Windows desktop application developed by Mohsin Abbas. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it to manage your YouTube channels.

Overview

TubePilot AI runs locally on your Windows computer. The app connects to your YouTube account through Google OAuth 2.0 and the official YouTube Data API v3. You choose which Google / YouTube account to connect and what content to upload.

Information stored on your device

This data is stored in your Windows user profile (Electron application data folder) unless you delete it or uninstall the application.

Information sent to third parties

Video files

Video files remain on your computer in your chosen channel folders until you upload them. Uploads go directly to YouTube through Google's official API. We do not host your video files on external servers as part of normal app operation.

AI-generated content

TubePilot uses generative AI for titles, descriptions, insights, and video diagnosis. You can report inappropriate AI output using the in-app Report an Issue feature.

Children's privacy

TubePilot AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

You may disconnect YouTube accounts in Settings, clear the upload queue, or uninstall TubePilot AI at any time. Uninstalling may leave residual data in your AppData folder until you delete it manually. You can revoke TubePilot's access at Google Account permissions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the current version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
